(More customer reviews)The last line of the product features section reads "Assorted Colors (Actual Color May Differ From Picture)". This differs from most of the clips/links available on Amazon where you can select the color. The pair of Coleman links that I received were a bright red; that was a bit surprising since I missed reading that last line of the feature list and was expecting the pictured blue pair. Granted this was my fault, but this seems like a sub-par customer experience.
Second, the links are smaller than I expected; unfortunately, the dimensions are not listed in the product features. For your reference the length is less than 3 inches and the width is 1.5 inches (at the widest part). The link is also much thinner than the broken link I was replacing.
In place of this product I would recommend:
Blue Aluminum Carabiner Attachments - Although the same size and available in various colors you get to pick the color you want!
Carabiner - The only review written on this product says these are large; however, you only get one and shipping (as of 6/2010) was rather high.
Large Gate Aluminum Carabiner Snap Ring - This is definitely a larger carabiner, but unfortunately color choices are limited and it lacks the classic bent oval shape.
