(More customer reviews)This flashlight is very solidly built and is well-designed.You rotate a band near the top to change colors and push a button on the bottom to switch between high, low, flashing and off.Unfortunately, I have only gotten it to work with alkaline batteries.It will not come on when I put Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries in it.I thought that perhaps the voltage output of the Eneloops was too low at 1.4 volts, because the alkalines had a voltage output of 1.5 volts.Next I tried PowerGenix NiZn rechargeable batteries with a voltage output of 1.8 volts.The flashlight would not come on with those either.I bought an LED flaslight to save energy and be green, but if it only works with disposable alkalines, then it's not very eco-friendly! What a shame.
