(More customer reviews)I purchased a Coleman Marine #8 rechargeable blender and fully charged it before my initial use. It worked great, I was so excited !. The next day I went to use it and the battery was dead ( it didn't hold its charge), so I recharged it again. I started using it and it started to smell hot and began getting real noisy. I inspected it and it seemed like a bushing or bearing failure issue. I cleaned it up and exchanged it with the retailer and told them it was faulty. I now have my second blender in which the same issue regarding the battery. This time I haven't even used it yet. This time it took over 24 hours to initially charge it until all the blue lights were lit, indicating a full charge. the next day it was DEAD! I contacted Coleman directly and they told me they "don't carry it any longer" and that they "do not have a replacement battery for it either" They can only issue a RA# (return authorization) to ship it to them with your receipt and they will refund your money.I am now researching for another RECHARGEABLE 12 volt BLENDERand hope to find one with both the 120v charger and the 12v like this Coleman Marine Blender Model # 850-800 " XP H2O.
