(More customer reviews)I have used it on one trip to yosemite. It was not as bright as I may have hoped for but a couple of qualifing factors are there. One it was a full moon the two nights we camped so couldnt get the full effect and Im used to a full size coleman lantern which really puts out the lumens. So for what it is a small lantern / lite weight... its pretty good! Its a little hard to lite it and then get the glass and cover/lid lined up but not that bad. Filling it up with gas was easy. It was totally quite when burning .The mantle(the thing you lite) seemed very durable and is in good shape even after hiking out, no tears. The directions are kind of a pain to read but once you do the lighting once you realize its pretty easy except for getting the cover back on as I had mentioned but not bad. You dont want to use it in a tent or any enclosed thing as the carbon monoxide will kill you so if you think you want a light for your tent get like a freeplay light. Its lite and you can charge it off your house electricity and turn a crank to charge itIts effecient and comes in different sizes. I also have the ML= mini lantern its brite enough to see in your two man tent and use as a flashlight. It has a big brother if you want a brighter one.Freeplay Indigo Lantern
