(More customer reviews)We bought this to keep in our motor home for grilling at campsites. It didn't look like much when I unpacked it, but we were quite impressed the first time we used it.The grill handled two hamburgers and two ears of corn with ease. What I really like is that you can close the lid while everything is cooking, just as you would with a full-size grill. The burgers came out perfectly grilled, and the corn was excellent. We grilled chicken breasts on it as well, with the same excellent results.
One other reviewer mentioned the small flame, which is true. When it's set on low, it almost looks like it's not working. But believe me, it gets plenty hot, and as the other reviewer suggested, you might want to start out cooking things on the low setting until you get used to it.
We also purchased the removable grill, which allows the Fold N Go to act like a regular camp stove. This was a great addition. It let us cook pancakes on our regular 2-burner Colman stove with the griddle in place, while we fried up some bacon in a frying pan on the Fold N Go with the grill insert. You can also leave the insert sitting on the table when you're not using it for cooking, and it makes a handy place to set a hot pan.
For whatever reason, Amazon doesn't carry the accessory grill, so we had to order that directly from Coleman.
The regular grill, the accessory grill, and the regulator all sit inside the unit when not in use.The lid locks down and there's a carrying handle, making the entire unit portable and easy to store.
Now to the dangerous flaw. The silver drip pan located in the bottom of the grill is simply pressed sheet metal, and the result is that the edges are VERY sharp.I was washing the pan after the first use, and the edge sliced my finger open like a razor blade. The cut was fairly deep, and although it did not require medical attention, it could easily have been much worse. It's not enough to cause me to return the grill, but I really want to make people aware of the problem.I have also written to Coleman about it, and await their response.
Two other things:1) Spray the grill which non-stick spray before each use.If you forget, you can plan on a long time at the sink getting the grill clean.2) When you screw the feet onto the grill, the screws will pull though the plastic if you're not careful.I added a washer under the head of each screw (something Coleman should provide), and that solved the problem.
All in all, a great little portable grill that cooks wonderfully. The problem with the pan is the only thing that kept me from giving it 5-stars.
